Inspiral Vegan Cafe in Camden, London

By Sharda ten Hove on 30 September 2012

Inspiral is not only a fantastic vegan cafe where you can get the most delicious, healthy and nutritious foods but it is also a shop and a community center regularly hosting events to educate, inspire and stimulate individuals to contribute in a meaningful way to a better future and present for all.

At Inspiral all food is freshly handmade on site and is all cholesterol-free. There is no use of additives or preservatives which proves again that there is no need to add chemicals to give food a better taste!
The dishes are enhanced with superfoods and tonic herbs for delicious taste proven to be beneficial for mind and body.
Most of their food is raw (not cooked and thus loaded with vitamins, enzymes and life energy: prana). When the food is fried this is done in coconut oil which is an extremely healthy oil, nourishing for your immune system, hair, skin, proper digestion and metabolism and much more.

We tried their Banana Karma Smoothie made from pre-soaked cashew nuts, dates, raw cacao, banana and purified alkalized water. I’ m happy to live in London because this is now officially my favorite smoothie!
For lunch we tried the Olive Bread Focaccia with Almond Pesto, Sundried Tomatoes & Rocket Salad, too good to be true!

At the shop there is also a wide variety of vegan ice-cream, raw chocolate and vegan cakes. You can find Inspiral products in various conscious health stores throughout London.

Check their website for their menu and upcoming events. They also serve great breakfasts but this is not mentioned on their website, not to be missed though!
