Mildred’s, Fantastic Vegan / Vegetarian Restaurant in Soho, London

By Editor on 26 June 2011

Mildred's is a hugely popular vegetarian restaurant in the artistic neighborhood of Soho in London. Founded to please vegetarians, Mildred's has even become a favorite restaurant of omnivores!

It is always busy at Mildred’s and as they take no reservations, we suggest having a drink at their cozy bar at the entrance of the restaurant while waiting for a table.
The waiting is absolutely worth your while. Every dish tastes as good as it looks and makes your mouth water when they pass by while waiting to be served.

Inspired by international vegetarian foods, the variety is wide. We tried the hummus and babaganoush with chilli oil and chargrilled flat bread and the burrito filled with spicy black turtle beans, corn, red pepper and green tomatillo rice, topped with spicy sauce and served with iceberg, guacamole and pico de gallo.
For dessert, we shared a raspberry and dark chocolate truffle. So delicious and rich that it is best to share!

Their prices are very reasonable especially for London.
