The World Peace Cafe in Brighton is a haven of peace where one can enjoy excellent vegetarian food prepared with love. The cafe is run by Alison Boseley who is a lovely person and a fabulous cook. Check out her incredible Carrot and Three Ginger Cake recipe.
The cafe is located in the Bodhisattva Kadampa Meditation center, a Buddhist centre of 30 residents who share a similar wish to make their lives meaningful by finding lasting peace and happiness from within and helping others to do the same.
The cafe offers a delicious range of home-made vegetarian and vegan dishes, including quiches, salads and heart-warming soups.
Their cakes are too good to be true and go very well with their wide selection of herbal teas and freshly ground Fair Trade coffee.
When the weather is nice you can relax in their beautiful Peace Garden.
There is also free internet access and parking for their customers.
