Nutritious and delicious warm nightcap drink

This Ayurvedic recipe is not only a delight to your tastebuds but is also very nutritious for all your bodily tissues and an excellent drink during pregnancy.

A perfect and healthy drink if you feel like something in the evening. It is also nourishing during pregnancy for mother and child.
According to Ayurveda there are 7 main bodily tissues and everything you eat is taken in by the tissue, then processed by the tissue and the outcome of the prior procession is transmitted to the latter. This means that your body undergoes 7 stages and the final outcome is the essence of your health which can be found in the semen of men and for women in their ovum.
Now you can probably understand better that you really do become what you eat!

Put almonds, dates and cardamom seeds in food processor and mix until you get a thick paste.
Heat milk in pan and add the paste + saffron and nutmeg. Saffron looses it’s qualities when boiled so make sure that you don’ t let the milk come to a boil.

The original Ayurveda recipe is with plain milk but rice milk or almond milk are great substitutes!
